Board of Directors

Midas Insurance Brokers has a board comprising of the two executive directors and one non-executive director. The number of directors have been expanded to five (5). The Executive Directors have had considerable experience in the Insurance Brokerage business in Ghana.

Prof. Alfred Robinson Neequaye

Prof. Alfred Robinson Neequaye is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Midas Insurance Brokers. Prof Neequaye graduated as a Medical Doctor in 1969 from the University of London. He worked at the St. Georges Hospital in London and returned to Ghana as a Lecturer of University of Ghana Medical School. He rose through the ranks and was made a full Professor of Medicine in 1998. Currently retired, Prof Neequaye still works at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on contract. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and West Africa College of Physicians.

Mr. James Anti

Mr. James Anti is the Chief Executive Officer for Midas Insurance Brokers Limited. Mr Anti is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. He has been working in the insurance industry in various capacities for the past 33 years, 14 of which has been in the brokerage sector. He was Director of KEK Insurance Brokers for 8 years.

Mr. Eric Addo-Mensah

Mr. Eric Addo-Mensah is the Chief Operations Officer of the company. He spent several years working in the insurance broking market in London and relocated to Ghana in 1995 where he worked with KEK Insurance Brokers Ltd. He resigned his position as Executive Director in July 2007. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London.

Mr. Christian Korblah Gawu

Mr. Christian Korblah Gawu is a Non-Executive Director. Mr Gawu, ACMA, CA (Ghana) is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has been practising for the past 20 years. He previously worked with Midland Bank PLC in the UK, ABC Breweries in Achimota and then SDV Ghana Limited, Tema where he is the Group Finance Manager looking after Antrak Ghana Limited, Saga Ghana Limited, Tema Container Terminal, Trans Meridian Maritime Services.
