James Anti – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Anti started his insurance career in 1974 with the State Insurance Company in Kumasi. In seven years, he rose from the position of Clerk to Superintendent. He then travelled to Nigeria where he worked with Confidence Insurance Company in Akure where he rose from Assistant Manager in 1982 to that of Senior Manager, General Claims and Reinsurance. From 1974 to 1992, he had worked in every department of a composite company and acquired a wealth of experience.

Mr Anti returned to Ghana in 1993 where he worked with KEK Insurance Brokers Limited in several capacities culminating in his last position as Executive Director. He left KEK in July 2007. Mr Anti is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Eric Addo-Mensah – Chief Operations Officer

Mr Eric Addo-Mensah is the Chief Operations Officer of the company. He spent several years working in the insurance broking market in London and relocated to Ghana in 1995 where he worked with KEK Insurance Brokers Limited. He resigned his position as Executive Director in July 2007. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institutes of London.

Since joining GBN Worldwide, GIB Africa Associates and BrokersLink, all being broker insurance networks, he has attended several conferences and training programmes in the United State of America, south Africa and Bahrain with the view to improving the international connections of MIDAS.

Albert Bruce-Acquah – Finance and Administration

Albert, whose background has been in the field of teaching graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Commerce degree alongside with Diploma in Education ( B. Comm, Dip Ed ) in 1996.
He joined KEK Insurance Brokers in September 1996 as a Finance Officer and rose through the rank to Deputy Manager- Finance. Albert structured the finance section of KEK Insurance brokers from its infant stage to the present level. His position as Deputy Manager – Finance was what he held till his departure in May 2007. Thus, he was the Financial Controller for almost eleven years.
Mr. Bruce-Acquah joined Parry and Company Ltd as Accountant when he left KEK Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Paulina E. A. Baiden Aryeh (Mrs) – Manager, Underwriter

A product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi, Paulina Baiden-Aryeh joined MIDAS Insurance Brokers in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant and has risen to the position of Manager of underwriting. She graduated from KNUST in 2011 with a degree in Business Administration (Human Resource Option).

Mrs. Baiden Aryeh holds a Certificate of Proficiency from Human Development Consultancy Services and Innovare in Strategic Management Thinking, Negotiations, Managerial Skills, Project Management, Effective Communication and Organizational behaviour. Her role as Manager in charge of Underwriting makes her responsible in satisfying all the stakeholders when it comes to underwriting and the selection of appropriated policies for clients.

Eric Nii Adjei – Senior Broking Officer

Mr. Eric Nii Adjei is a Senior Brokign Officer of Midas Insurance Brokers Limited. He has over 18 years of wide range working experience in the Insurance Industry in Ghana. After working at the Registrar Generals Department in 1994 as a Service Personnel, he was employed by Vanguard Assurance Company Limited in 1996 as a Clerk and in three years rose to the position of a Senior Officer.

At Vanguard, he was in charge of the various Insurance Brokers Motor Policies and direct client services. In 1999, he joined Metropolitan Insurance Company as the Deputy Regional Manager. He also trained and supervised Agents of the Company who were in charge of the sale of Met Gold Plan and the Metcare. He later worked with Covenant Insurance Brokers as the Regional Manager.

Mr. Adjei has attended various short courses on Insurance organized by the National Insurance Commission and holds the Insurance Foundation Certificate and Certificate in Insurance Practice from the Chartered Insurance Institute, London.

Cordelia Dawson-Kesson - Snr Broking Officer - Tema Branch

Cordelia Dawson-Kesson holds a degree in Science Education and an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology respectively.Also holds the Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College and currently stydying for the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute of United Kingdom.

Until she joined Midas Insurance Brokers as a Senior Broking Officer in January 2012, she had worked in various capacities in several organizations including the Inspectorate Division of the Minerals Commission, and the Aboadze Thermal Plant in Takoradi and the Environmental Protection Agency in Kumasi.

She also has considerable experience in Risk Management and Project Management and is currently a student at the Ghana Insurance College and a member of the Board of Directors of St. Monica’s School in Tema.
